Waterkloof House Preparatory School receives 500 tree-gifts

The Success Academy and Willow Feather Farm spent this morning at Waterkloof House Preparatory School. We donated just over 500 trees, as part of the “Save our Planet – Plant a Tree” project, placed on display along the pool making for a beautiful sight, green trees contrasting delightfully against the blue pool.

The boys sat on the pavilion facing the pool, eagerly listening to Theresa and the headmaster speak. The headmaster explained to them the significance of the day and why they have decided to move their planned Arbor Day celebrations this year.

The school decided to postpone their Arbor Day traditions, where they usually plant a tree and have a whole day of festivities, and rather celebrate it by inviting “Save our Planet – Plant a Tree” to their school, giving a tree gift to each and every pupil and staff member. As part of their community outreach program together with Willow Feather Farm and Mabron Farming, they  plan to plant ten 50l trees at the Bathokwa Primary School in Atteridgeville ,Pretoria, with the help of a generous donation from a parent.
