Today we spent the morning with Cornwall Hill College Primary. The students watched a short slide show on what trees do for the earth, and for people and animals. Theresa, from The Success Academy explained to them that when they start planting trees, they become superheroes because every tree planted gives oxygen two 2 people during its lifetime.
As the students walked down to each receive their tree, they couldn’t keep their excitement at bay, thanking us as they ran past to pick their very own tree and give it a name. This has been this second visit to Cornwall Hill College since the Save Our Planet – Plant a Tree project started more than 4 years ago.
