Springvale Primary joins the cause to Save our Planet

The latest school to join us in our mission to plant 150,000 trees is Springvale Primary.

First we visited the younger children, who sat and eagerly listened to The Success Academy CEO Charl Du Toit  explain that they now have the responsibility to nurture their trees, and to build a relationship with it to ensure it grows big and strong. They couldn’t wait to take their trees home. Later we spent some time with the older pupils and explained to them as well that they need to make friends with their trees and even give it a name, much to their amusement.

To our own excitement, we found a fully grown River Bush Willow Tree on the school property.

The Success Academy and Willow Feather Farm donated 1440 River Bush Willow trees to the pupils and staff members as part of the “Save our Planet – Plant a Tree” project.
